Is it any suprise that CEO’s are 4 to 1 in favour of Rep. John McCain’s policies and are behind the Senator from Arizona’s bid for presidency? In a recent Chief Executive Magazine poll, a whopping 80% of CEO’s and C-Level executives prefer the politics of John McCain because they believe he is better at creating jobs than Barack Obama. Even more frightening is that 74% of these well-groomed, ivy-league educated execs say they fear that an Obama presidency would be disastrous for the country.

Did somebody forget to tell these C-Level executives to have a look at what their actions have done to the stock market and the average American’s retirement savings or are they carrying the Republican ticket because the majority of these fat cats are rich, old and white, just like John McCain ?

Since when did CEO’s care about anything other than snatching multi-million dollar salaries and floating their golden parachutes over the heads of investors? Are CEO’s and C-Level executives truly as “out of touch” with the American public as John McCain?

Here’s an interesting little tidbit straight from the horse’s mouth…

I guess it’s safe to assume that Berkshire Hathaway CEO Warren Buffet wasn’t part of this poll? If he was, the Oracle of Omaha, the world’s richest man, was the one out of five who sided with Obama’s policies because Mr. Buffet has chosen to back Barack Obama, even going so far as to state “I will be very happy if he is elected president.”
