Strange Bedfellows in the Democrat Camp - Kennedy Endorses Obama
In an interesting political move today, Senator Sen. Edward “Ted” Kennedy has endorsed Barack Obama, calling him a “man with extraordinary gifts of leadership and character,” a worthy heir to his assassinated brother.
“I feel change in the air,” Kennedy said in remarks salted with scarcely veiled criticism of Obama’s chief rival for the nomination, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, as well as her husband, the former president.
However, the aging Senator from Massachusetts probably hasn’t seen this video where Obama calls Ted Kennedy “old” and says he needs to get some “backbone” and stand up to the Republicans…
Then again, Ted Kennedy is well known for his binge drinking and philandering and was probably nursing a hangover when he called Obama “Osama” in this video clip…
The question is “Does anybody outside of Massachusetts even give a rip about who Ted Kennedy endorses ?”
